Hi! I’m Morgan. I am a recovering creative shop owner whose brick + mortar was lost during the COVID-19 pandemic. You can take the shop away from the girl. But you can’t take the desire to inspire, the endless list of ideas and projects, or the hoarding tendencies out of the girl.
That’s where this website comes in. Since I am no longer able to be creative in my shop, I’ve taken to the internet. Here, I found an outlet to inspire you to create pretty things and spaces in your home. You will find DIY projects, antiquing adventures, how to decorate with antiques in your home, handmade and vintage items for purchase, and other fun sprinkled throughout.
I started my entrepreneurial career after figuring out the hard way that a desk job was not for me. I started picking at flea markets looking for nothing and everything that looked like it might have a good story. After three and a half years of running a creative shop selling furniture paint, antiques, vintage inspired decor, and DIY products, I brought my vision for Vintage in Bloom to the web: where I can continue to inspire my customers who turned into friends — and you all can continue to inspire me too.
Late in 2020, I decided to try my luck at locating a spot to host a vintage + handmade market in 2021 where I could bring together like-minded artists and friends. Thus Bloom at the Barn was born. And the place? The Barn at Ike’s Place in Amity, PA. The venue is beautiful and the market participants will be too. I can’t wait to see you all again and bring this community back together. Find out more about the market here.
